Daniel Buren

Daniel Buren creates hundreds of works throughout the world that emphasize, counteract or enhance the characteristics of the places that host him. Buren's works, which address a range of issues related to perception, color, architecture and spatial relationships, aim to allow direct perception and provoke a response that solicits the viewer's sensitivity and reflection. His art invades space to reveal its spatial, institutional and aesthetic limits.
