Liz Kircher

Liz Kircher is an interdisciplinary professional working actively to improve the future of food systems. She focuses on the complexities of labor, exchange, preservation, production and demand in food supply chains, and the impact of globalized consumer behavior has on the land. Kircher focuses on the creation of new systems for how we preserve, protect, encourage and innovate holistic practices in modern food production.

Kircher transformed food procurement and production practices between global scale industry, NGOs, and farmers, focusing on circular economy and social compliance projects within global supply chains. She has been integral in Carbon Footprint benchmarking and reduction in the Dairy farming industry, helped define regenerative soil programs between farms and industry implemented sustainable sourcing programs for global companies. In extension of her action oriented approach to embettering the climates of food supply chains, Kircher is part of a growing network of young female leaders in the world of food supply chains.

Utilizing a holistic approach to supply chain development, Kircher connect personal relationships, data, trends, first hand experience, knowledge of industrial and small scale farming methods, and applications of larger CSR and globalization to create new relationships between food and landscape in the future. How can diversification and resilience in farming be built through the use of technology, circular economies and local knowledge? How can we design a system that incorporates local knowledge and new technologies to create a more resilient, ethical, circular and inclusive Food System?
