Violaine Buet

Violaine Buet has a background in humanities and design. In Brittany, she founded her creative research and development studio around macroalgae and surrounds herself with a network of experts, researchers, and craftsmen with whom she collaborates according to the needs of various projects. At the same time, Violaine Buet is a member of the Department of Seaweed, a European and transdisciplinary platform exploring algae as a sustainable resource founded by the artist-designer Julia Lohmann.
