Visit LUMA Arles as a family

There are plenty of ways to discover or rediscover LUMA Arles with your family.

Free visit of the Tower and the landscaped park

The Parc des Ateliers is very large! It covers 11 hectares. Some areas are freely accessible, while others require an entrance ticket.

Entrance to The Tower, the panoramic terraces, the slides, and all the artworks in the common areas of The Tower are accessible without reservation and free of charge.

The landscaped park and the skatepark are also freely accessible.

Only the exhibition spaces require the purchase of a ticket. 

Please note: The slides are not accessible to children under 1.10 meters tall.

Ask the information point for the free Exploration Booklet, specially designed for children.

With Lumio, their adventure companion, young visitors will embark on an exciting journey through LUMA Arles, filled with games, drawings, and challenges.

The booklet is available only in French.

Visit of the exhibitions

Art for all ages! 

Designed especially for families, the "Children & Co." ticket allows you to discover all the exhibitions at a reduced rate for one or two adults accompanying up to five children.

It is the perfect opportunity to share precious moments while sparking the curiosity of the younger ones. 

Children & Co. exhibitions ticket

Low season rate: €7 instead of €9 per adult

High season rate (from July until October): €12 instead of €15 per adult

Exhibition visits are free for those under 26 years old.

Guided tours

« Les petits explorateurs de La Tour » (in French only)

For the duration of a visit, The Tower becomes an adventure territory to explore as a family! Children and adults are invited to discover original architecture and surprising artworks through a fun-filled tour and a series of activities. 
A leaflet with games and stickers is provided for the visit.

Duration: 1h30
Recommended age: 6 - 12 years old

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

« Explor’expos en famille » (in French only)

This guided tour invite both children and adults to explore the artistic program in a fun and engaging way. Everyone will have the opportunity to discover a variety of artworks, some of them surprising ; through this visit specially adapted for children.

Workshops


During each school vacation period, LUMA Arles offers a special program. These workshops, inspired by current exhibitions, offer children the chance to learn while having fun.

« Visite-atelier : Diptyque végétal » (in French only)

This workshop-visit unfolds in two parts. It begins with a guided tour of the 2025 Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award for Young Talents exhibition. In response to the works on view, participants are then invited to create a botanical diptych inspired by the surrounding landscaped park. They will explore a natural textile printing and dyeing technique developed by Atelier LUMA, the biodesign research lab of LUMA Arles.

Recommended age: For ages 10 and up.

Get the children ready

Admire the works without touching them, move around calmly and speak in a low voice. Children should always be under adult supervision to ensure their safety and that of the artworks on display.

Remember to take breaks

You may not eat or drink in the exhibition halls. However, picnics are permitted in the park.
In addition, all our restaurants welcome guests of all ages, and have highchairs available.

Think about your comfort

Travel light, or use the lockers when you arrive.
They are free and located on Level -2 of The Tower.

Sanitary facilities and nursery

Some sanitary facilities in The Tower, and the ones in Les Forges, are equipped with changing tables. You may ask our teams for further information.
